Worship
First Presbyterian is a family church. We involve all its generations in reaching out to those in need and celebrating worship of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Worship is on Sunday mornings in our sanctuary. We also provide a zoom platform for those who are not able to participate in person. We celebrate an open Communion table. If you hunger and thirst for God, please join us for Communion on the first Sundays of the month.
We have a pray-ground where our children gather during the sermon time, and do crafts that are connected to the sermon topic of the day. We also invite them to be part of the service as liturgists, ushers and greeters.
No need to dress up – we are pretty informal. Just come as you are.

Men's Breakfast Group
On Thursday mornings our men’s breakfast group gathers for food, fellowship and friendship at various restaurants in the area. Guy gab – sports, politics, religion, news, cars, movies and maybe a few jokes are on the docket. Please join us. Bring a friend. We would love to expand this group even more into the community.

Theology On Tap
Curious about faith, life, or the bigger picture? Join a welcoming group of seekers and skeptics alike as we share honest conversation over a meal and a drink. Meet us the last Thursday of the month at 6:30pm at Grumpy Goat in Elgin.
